DLP Cinema Projectors support both CineCanvas and SMPTE 428-7 XML Subtitle formats. CineCanvas is currently used with Interop DCP delivery. When delivering SMPTE DCPs the subtitling format is expected to be in SMPTE 428-7 format. Please obtain the SMPTE specification directly from SMPTE.
